I have so much to do. So many things I want to do and a zillion things I need to do. But I have excuses. Maybe good ones. But they are nevertheless, excuses. I’m tired. I’m busy. I’m sick, in pain, lazy. It’s too hot, cold, not enough money, education. There is always a reason. But with God, all things are possible.
So what does that really mean? It means turning my day over to Him. Believing He can guide me in my steps and choices to get whatever I need to get done. And I have to do this every day. Every. Day. I need God’s help for the big things and the little things. On days that get off to a hasty start and I don’t have my prayer time in the morning, exhaustion sets in very quickly because I am trying to do things in my own strength. When I turn it over to Him and let God guide me in how to proceed through my day, I am amazed at what gets done.
This is true for my big dreams as well. When I allow God to lead me, I am able to take the baby steps necessary to lead to ever bigger results. He makes it possible. Without God’s help, I am struggling. But with God’s help, all things truly do become possible.
